Job Description & Summary
We are seeking a Senior Associate to support client engagements focused on complex operations and planning decision-making in highly constrained, mission-critical environments. This role contributes to both analytical delivery and broader modernization efforts, including process, data, reporting, and system-enabled improvements.

The Opportunity:

As a Digital Operations, Senior Associate, unlock your potential and embrace the chance to drive meaningful outcomes that'll elevate your career. You will work closely with Managers and senior team members to translate planning and readiness questions into analytical outputs that inform decision-making. The role emphasizes strong analytical execution, clear communication of results, and an interest in how analytics is used in real operational decisions. Your role will include, but isn't limited to:

Analytical Problem Solving

  • Support structuring of operational, logistics, and planning challenges as analytical problems under uncertainty.
  • Contribute to analysis of trade-offs involving capacity, inventory, risk, service levels, and timing.
  • Apply quantitative techniques with appropriate rigor based on guidance from senior team members.


Applied Modelling & Analysis
  • Build and support quantitative analyses including Supply chain network and flow analysis, Inventory planning under uncertainty, Capacity, throughput, and bottleneck analysis, Scenario and probabilistic analysis using simulation
  • Support model testing, sensitivity analysis, and validation to ensure outputs are reliable and decision-relevant.


Technology & Tools
  • Develop and maintain analytics code, models, and supporting documentation.
  • Work with data from multiple systems and sources.
  • Support documentation of business rules, data requirements, process flows, and reporting logic.
  • Tools may include Python, R, and SQL; optimization solvers; simulation libraries; and enterprise or cloud data platforms.
  • Follow governed, auditable analytics and documentation practices.


Team & Stakeholder Support
  • Work collaboratively within project teams to deliver high-quality analytical outputs.
  • Support preparation of materials and insights for client discussions.
  • Proactively flag data, modelling, or assumption risks to senior team members.
  • Work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms, system integration concepts, data architecture, and digital workflow enablement is an asset.

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
