Permanent Position - Hybrid

The Digital Marketing Specialist supports integrated digital marketing initiatives for the Ontario region, enhancing Fasken's market visibility, client engagement, and marketing and business development objectives through digital campaigns, content marketing, lawyer profile optimization, and targeted communications.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing, the Digital Marketing Specialist develops and executes multi-channel campaigns, manages digital content and communications, leverages data and AI-enabled tools to improve performance, and collaborates with lawyers and marketing professionals to support firm priorities.

This is a hybrid position.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Regional Campaign Development & Execution
    • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns that are aligned to Ontario priorities and supporting a variety of programs related to thought leadership, events, sponsorships, and priority clients.

  • Website, SEO, LLM Optimization & Digital Presence
    • Optimize web content and lawyer biographies to improve visibility, user experience, SEO, and AI-driven search performance.
    • Coordinate and execute lawyer bio updates and apply SEO and LLM optimization best practices to increase discoverability across traditional search and AI-driven search experiences.
    • Partner with internal teams to ensure content reflects current market trends, client needs, and firm positioning.

  • Content and Social Media Marketing
    • Collaborate with lawyers, marketing and business development teams to create client-focused messaging and drive brand awareness and business impact.
    • Produce and distribute digital thought leadership content, including articles, bulletins, and social media.
    • Develop and execute the Ontario region's social media initiatives and content calendars to support the firm's priorities and key campaigns.

  • Video Content Creation & Digital Storytelling
    • Support content creation for digital channels, including video capture, editing, and production of short-form assets for social media, campaigns, and firm storytelling.
    • Contribute to the development of video content plans and campaigns aligned with broader marketing priorities and audience engagement objectives.
    • Use AI-enabled tools, where appropriate, to streamline content development, editing workflows, and production efficiency while maintaining quality and brand standards

  • Email Marketing, Paid Media & Digital Growth Initiatives
    • Support planning and delivery of email marketing and paid digital campaigns aligned with regional and firmwide initiatives.
    • Lead the list segmentation, distribution schedules, and campaign performance tracking.
    • Apply data insights to improve engagement, open rates, and client interaction.

  • Analytics, Reporting & Insights
    • Monitor and optimize campaign performance, provide reporting and recommendations to optimize return on investment.
    • Identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in performance across digital channels and recommend improvements.
    • Leverage AI-enabled tools and Microsoft 365 applications to improve efficiency, content development, workflow execution, reporting, and overall marketing effectiveness.


Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of digital marketing experience, ideally within professional services or a law firm environment.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in executing digital content marketing, social media, email marketing, paid media, SEO and AI/LLM optimization.
  • Experience with content publishing, multimedia production, analytics, CMS, CRM, marketing automation, and AI-enabled tools within Microsoft 365 and other marketing platforms.
  • Strong communication, analytical, project management, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for legal and business audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative approach, with experience working across teams and stakeholders.


Pay Range

$75,000 to $95,000 per annum. Pay range to be commensurate with experience.
