JOB SUMMARY:Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution and coordination of the company's digital marketing initiatives.
This role serves as the primary point of contact for external paid media, SEO, and public relations agencies, ensuring strategies, campaigns, deliverables, budgets, and reporting remain aligned with the company's broader marketing objectives. Rather than directly managing advertising campaigns on a daily basis, this position will provide informed oversight, evaluate agency recommendations, monitor performance, identify opportunities, and hold agency partners accountable for results.
The Digital Marketing Manager will also oversee website content, email marketing, conversion optimization, digital reporting, and cross-functional marketing projects. This individual will translate the Senior Director of Marketing's strategic direction into organized plans, clear agency assignments, coordinated internal deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a proactive operator who can independently manage multiple agencies, brands, campaigns, websites, and priorities while keeping leadership informed of performance, challenges, and opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:- Manage the day-to-day relationships with paid media, SEO, public relations, and other external marketing agencies
- Serve as the primary contact for routine agency communication, meetings, approvals, and follow-up
- Establish clear agency objectives, deadlines, budgets, reporting requirements, and performance expectations
- Review paid media strategies, campaign performance, targeting, creative, attribution, and budget allocation to ensure alignment with company goals
- Hold agency partners accountable for performance and work with them to address underperforming campaigns, missed deadlines, or strategic gaps
- Escalate significant performance concerns, budget recommendations, strategic changes, and business opportunities to the Senior Director of Marketing
- Manage the public relations agency's day-to-day activities, including editorial calendars, press releases, product announcements, media outreach, interview opportunities, award submissions, and performance reporting
- Coordinate agency activities with internal product launches, promotions, events, trade shows, content initiatives, and company announcements
- Manage website content updates and digital merchandising initiatives across company websites
- Regularly review company websites for accuracy, functionality, brand alignment, and conversion opportunities
- Coordinate landing page development and optimization with internal teams, developers, designers, and agency partners
- Manage email marketing calendars, campaign execution, audience segmentation, automation, testing, and reporting
- Oversee digital campaign tracking, analytics, dashboards, and recurring performance reports
- Consolidate agency and channel reporting into clear insights, recommendations, and executive-level summaries
- Analyze website, e-commerce, lead-generation, email, paid media, SEO, and public relations performance
- Identify emerging issues, missed opportunities, and areas requiring leadership attention
- Coordinate A/B testing across websites, landing pages, email campaigns, advertising creative, and other experiences
- Ensure campaigns and digital initiatives are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with brand standards
- Work closely with creative, content, product, sales, development, and leadership teams to keep digital marketing initiatives moving forward
- Maintain project plans, calendars, meeting notes, action items, deadlines, and ownership across agencies and internal stakeholders
- Recommend new strategies, technologies, platforms, and process improvements that support company growth
- Maintain awareness of digital marketing, e-commerce, search, analytics, artificial intelligence, media, and public relations trends
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
- 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, performance marketing, e-commerce, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience managing external marketing agencies, vendors, or strategic partners
- Strong working knowledge of Google Ads, paid social media, campaign optimization, attribution, and ROAS measurement
- Ability to evaluate agency strategies, budgets, reporting, and campaign performance without personally managing campaigns day to day
- Experience managing or working closely with a public relations agency strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in landing page optimization, UX/UI best practices, conversion rate optimization, and digital customer journeys
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce and experience supporting strategies that drive online sales and lead generation
- Working knowledge of SEO principles and their integration into broader digital marketing strategies
- Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools, including Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Looker Studio, and similar platforms
- Experience with email marketing, marketing automation, audience segmentation, and campaign reporting
- Experience with HubSpot strongly preferred
- Exceptional communication, project management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to consolidate complex performance data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Confidence challenging agency recommendations and holding external partners accountable for results
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the judgment to independently resolve routine issues and escalate significant concerns
- Experience managing multiple brands, agencies, campaigns, and priorities in a fast-paced environment preferred
