Job DescriptionJob Summary:The Digital Labs Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Specialist supports the development, optimization, and management of BDO Digital's managed EDI offering, Zephyr. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining process documentation, training materials, and operational reports. The EDI Specialist collaborates with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient service delivery, provides customer and technical support, and contributes to the continuous improvement of Digital Labs' solutions. This position offers opportunities to innovate and enhance the team's processes and client experience.
Job Duties: - Defines, develops, and manages comprehensive documentation for support and technical aspects of the Zephyr EDI service
- Optimizes and administers Zephyr service desk processes and systems in ServiceNow
- Analyzes data using Excel, including pivot tables
- Designs and assists in the development of reports in ServiceNow and Power BI
- Utilizes reporting tools such as ServiceNow and Power BI to optimize team workload and results
- Operates as a member of the support team, solving problems, providing customer service, escalating issues as needed, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Trains, delegates, and manages tasks for junior support staff
- Other duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Education: - High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
Experience: - Two (2) or more years of experience in customer service or application support, required
- One (1) or more years of experience in a business analyst role, preferred
- One (1) or more years of experience creating help desk processes and procedures, preferred
Software: - Proficiency in Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), required
- Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) or X12, preferred
- Experience with AS2 server configuration and administration, preferred
- Experience with Java, Eclipse, SQL, or Microsoft SQL Server, preferred
- Experience with C#, Visual Studio, or Angular development, preferred
- ServiceNow user or administrative experience, preferred
- Linux operating system and administration utilities, preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: - Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and documentation abilities
- Project management and business analysis skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range: $90,000 - $120,000
Maryland Range: $90,000 - $120,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $90,000 - $120,000
