About the role:

The Digital Product, Senior Manager leads a product initiative within the Takeda portfolio, focusing on customer needs and strategic product roadmap for Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) solution across Takeda labs. This role ensures the product aligns with business objectives and delivers value across the organization.

How you will contribute:
  • Establish and evolve a globally standardized ELN ecosystem across Takeda QC laboratories.
  • Define and execute the ELN product strategy, roadmap, governance, and investment priorities.
  • Enable consistent, compliant, and scalable laboratory processes through harmonized ELN capabilities and data standards.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in laboratory efficiency, data integrity, user experience, and operational visibility.
  • Drive successful adoption and sustained use of ELN solutions across Takeda sites and regions.
  • Provide strategic technical direction for complex, multi-component, and multi-regional ELN initiatives.
  • Ensure ELN solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, supportable, and aligned with Takeda's digital and laboratory strategies.
  • Strengthen collaboration among Global DD&T, QC, laboratory, and business stakeholders to align ELN capabilities with evolving business needs.
  • Advance the ELN portfolio to support connected, integrated, and digitally enabled laboratory operations.
  • Build a high-performing ELN capability that delivers sustainable value through effective governance, knowledge management, and continuous improvement.


Skills and qualifications:

Technical and Functional Expertise
  • Strong technical expertise in ELN, LIMS, laboratory instruments, instrument integration, and laboratory data systems.
  • Experience with laboratory technologies.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory processes, workflows, data integrity, and GxP requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable, compliant, and user-focused technology solutions.
  • Experience implementing, configuring, integrating, testing, validating, and supporting ELN solutions.
  • Ability to manage complex technical issues, dependencies, risks, and system lifecycle activities.
  • Strong business acumen in laboratory informatics and the ability to align technology investments with business outcomes.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum, project delivery, change management, and continuous improvement practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional, multi-project, and multi-regional teams.
  • Own and maintain the ELN product strategy, roadmap, governance, priorities, and delivery plans.

U.S. Base Salary Range:
$137,000.00 - $215,270.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
