Full Job Description
Overview

This position will report directly to the Digital Data Quality Manager of Digital Enterprise (DE), D405. The Program Supervisor, Digital Data Quality is a key leadership role that will be responsible for overseeing the development, execution, and monitoring of enterprise data quality processes across all value streams that support the full lifecycle of submarine programs from digital design and build through certification and maintenance. This role ensures that data used across the organization meets defined quality standards and supports operational, analytical, and strategic needs. This supervisor collaborates closely with the Program Supervisor - Digital Data Governance to align quality practices with governance frameworks, policies, and standards. This role will oversee a newly established team of approximately two employees and will work closely with EBIT and representatives throughout the Business Areas.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise team responsible for implementing data quality assessments, monitoring and issue remediation
  • Develop and maintain data quality standards, rules, and validation procedures in alignment with enterprise governance
  • Identify and escalate data quality risks, issues, and process gaps
  • Recommend process improvements to strengthen the data quality program
  • Partner with data owners, stewards, and the governance implementation supervisor to ensure cohesive data management practices
  • Working collaboratively in a team environment, and interfacing with data owners, data stewards, EBIT, and various business stakeholders including Design and Engineering, Quality, Operations, Planning, Purchasing, and subcontractors
  • Development of personnel through training and mentoring
  • Cost and schedule management as well as performance and resource management
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Science
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in design and engineering, waterfront engineering, operations, program office, planning, and/or quality
  • 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Experience with data analytics, data modeling, or data management
  • Experience managing cross organizational projects
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the department of defense

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Business, or related field
  • Experience with Electric Boat digital tools such as Teamcenter, Power BI, and Oracle
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), audit programs, and root cause analysis
