Job Description

To engineer, design, test, integrate and maintain digital systems and data for rapid, innovative product solutions. Provide support and technical direction/engineering insight on projects for fast and optimal infrastructure/product development. Assist with planning, designing, developing, and testing software systems/applications, and analyzing small and large data for improving reports, cloud adoption and modeling to find rapid product insights and business solutions. Develop modules, components for employees/members to improve UI for multi device, multi-platform mobile and desktop web applications. Provide support and services for the organization's network systems, applications, and data migration/integration solutions for end user requirements and needs. This level requires advanced knowledge of related digital engineering industry technologies, concepts and trends. Works under minimal supervision on complex to very complex projects and problems. Coaches and provides guidance to less experienced Digital Engineers.

Responsibilities

Full Stack Development & Architecture
  • Design and develop scalable, user-centric applications using modern frontend frameworks and backend technologies.
  • Implement microservices architecture for modularity and maintainability.
  • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and ensure secure data exchange.
  • Ensure responsive UI/UX design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility.

Cloud & DevOps Engineering
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and reliable releases.
  • Monitor application health and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability.

Containerization & Orchestration
  • Design and manage Kubernetes clusters on Azure for containerized workloads.
  • Automate deployment, scaling, and recovery of applications.
  • Apply security best practices and conduct regular audits.

Database Management
  • Provision and manage Azure SQL databases, optimize queries, and indexing strategies.
  • Implement encryption, role-based access control, and automated backups.

Collaboration & Leadership
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers and operations.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to backlog grooming and sprint planning.
  • Maintain documentation and present system performance reports to stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Advanced experience working with all levels of staff, management, stakeholders, vendors
  • Significant experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals
  • Advanced knowledge with cloud services (Microsoft Azure strongly preferred, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Significant experience in data engineering and application development
  • Significant experience in J2EE and Web Services (Java, XML, JQuery JavaScript, HTML, OOA and OOD Concepts)
  • Significant experience in Pivotal Cloud Foundry
  • Significant experience in ticketing system, such as VSTS, Service Now or Jira
  • Significant experience in Cl/CD pipelines using tools such as, Gradle, Docker, GitHub, Chef, Nexus, Jenkins, JUnit, Tomcat, SonarQube, Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
  • Significant experience in Data Lake Store, Machine Learning, SQL Data Warehouse, SQL Streaming Analytics, Bot Framework, Cognitive Services, Data Catalog, Data Factory, KeyVault, Azure AD, Azure SQL, AppInsights
  • Significant experience in CRM configuration, custom assembly development, integration code and data migration scripts for Microsoft Dynamics CRM-based projects
  • Advanced knowledge with Azure IaaS & PaaS, VSTS, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Continuous Deployment pipelines
  • Advanced knowledge with development software such as Azure, MS Stack, Xcode, Jira, Jenkins, etc.
  • Significant experience in Angular 5/6, Angular JS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or Jasmin framework
  • Advanced knowledge with TypeScript development
  • Advanced knowledge with coding and documenting JavaScript using JSDoc or similar conventions
  • Advanced knowledge with data structures, algorithms, design patterns
  • Significant experience with IT related Data Management and Data Migration activities
  • Significant experience in Data Management and Architecture, Performance Management, Information Delivery and Advanced Analytics
  • Significant experience in analytical and data visualization tools and techniques (Power BI preferred)
  • Significant experience in modeling and quantification concepts including statistics and probability principles
  • Expert analytical/quantitative, reconciliation and deductive reasoning skills
  • Advanced analytical and conceptual skills to create original concepts/theories for various projects
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced skill building effective relationships through rapport, trust, diplomacy and tact
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
