We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Enablement Specialist supporting our Water Business Line Delivery Centers, Water Delivery Discipline Teams, and Delivery Leaders.

This role focuses on enabling practical, secure, and adopted Microsoft 365 and AI-enabled solutions that improve workflows, standardize communications, and support delivery excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities

Copilot & AI Enablement
  • AI and Automation Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Partner with stakeholders at varying levels of AI and automation maturity to identify practical business use cases.
    • Assess identified use cases for business value, feasibility, adoption readiness, and potential return on effort
    • Coordinate across business units to align opportunities, reduce duplication, and promote scalable solutions.
    • Collaborate with citizen developers to assess current AI use, identify the tools already in use, and understand solutions currently in development.
  • AI Training and Support
    • Deliver online, peer-to-peer, and large-group training and support (lunch and learns, Q&A's etc).
    • Act as the first point of contact for staff questions about AI tools and best practices.
    • Develop quick-start guides, internal training materials, best practices, tech tips, and curated prompt libraries tailored to business functions and common scenarios. Maintain an active library of these tools.
    • Coordinate with champions to share resources, promote AI and automation, and gather feedback from users.
    • Coach users and teams on effective prompt strategies, secure AI use, and methods to improve output quality.
  • Development and Deployment
    • Review and evaluate agents from citizen developers for accuracy, business value, benefits, and scalability.
    • Design, build, test, and deploy Copilot agents, including in Copilot Studio, to support business workflows, knowledge retrieval, and standardized communications.
    • Translate business needs into AI-assisted workflows, prompts, and agent logic.
    • Implement automation workflows using Power Platform to support business needs.
    • Support cost optimization and analysis for AI and automation tools.
    • Apply change management strategies to support adoption, engagement, and sustained use of AI and automation solutions.


Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Technical & Digital Skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot concepts
  • Practical use in Power Platform, SharePoint & Teams.
  • Working knowledge of AI platforms outside of Copilot
  • Hands-on experience building with:
    • Copilot Studio (agent creation, workflows, topics, actions, generative answers, knowledge sources)
    • Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Bi)
  • Strong ability to evaluate and validate AI outputs: accuracy checking, bias/assumption detection, and identifying missing context.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to people of different levels of technical maturity
  • Able to work independently with professionalism, confidentiality, and adaptability

Education and Experience
  • 5+ years delivering solutions in Microsoft 365 and Power Platform environments, with demonstrated experience applying AI or automation to business workflows.
  • 5+ years experience with stakeholder engagement, deployment of solutions and multi-business collaboration
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience

About the Team

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.

Benefits Summary: Regular full-time and part-time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) have access to medical, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health saving accounts, flexible spending accounts, 401(k) plan, employee stock purchase program, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, short-term/long-term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage and paid family leave. Regular full-time and part-time employees will receive ten paid holidays in each calendar year. In addition, employees will be eligible to accrue vacation between 10 and 20 days per year and eligible for paid sick leave (and if more generous, in accordance with state and local law).

Temporary/casual employees have access to 401(k) plans, employee stock purchase program, and paid leave, in accordance with state and local law.
