Full Job Description
GFT is seeking a Digital Delivery Leader - Bridge to join our Bridge Practice in any of our U.S. based offices. This position can be remote or hybrid!

What you'll be challenged to do:
GFT's Transportation Business Group is looking for a dynamic and highly collaborative Bridge Digital Delivery Leader to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced and talented group of engineers and planners around the country, helping reshape the way GFT delivers our bridge projects. In addition, you will be tasked with keeping up to date on the quickly evolving bridge-related technologies, including (but not limited to) digital delivery, data management, digital twins, generative design, modeling and analysis, ISO-19650, model as the legal document, among others.

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
  • Work with the national leadership team and design staff to develop and implement an overall internal Bridge Digital Delivery Strategy, including technology adoption and develop/implement learning mechanisms for staff, Quality Control, and Assurance
  • Help develop a bridge data management strategy for GFT
  • Help develop Quality Control and Assurance and Risk Management Plans, as they relate to 3D models, with the Corporate Quality Control Office
  • Advance GFT brand by presenting at industry events and/or publishing articles
  • Stay updated on the latest technology landscapes that may impact the AEC business and our current stack of applied technology tools and staff resources
  • Distill client Digital Delivery requirements and help enable design staff to implement them at the project level
  • Collaborate with various business groups within GFT to best implement Bridge Digital Delivery


What you will bring to our firm:

  • 10+ years of experience progressive experience leading or participating leveraging bridge technology in the delivery of modeling and analysis, data management, digital delivery and generative design.
  • BS in Civil Engineering or related field
  • High level proficiency in CADD/BIM and related design software
  • In-depth knowledge of bridge 3D geometric and analytic modeling using modeling software suites such as OpenBridge, Inventor, InfraWorks, Revit, etc.,
  • Knowledgeable about data flows between geometric modeling and analysis software modeling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to train others
  • Experience with management of small workgroups and project tasks
  • Innovative spirit and driven to challenge the norms
  • Expertise with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

  • Professional Engineering License
  • Adept at using bridge stress/strain analysis software.


Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $230,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
