Overview

The North American Director of Digital Commerce leads a team of digital professionals focused on maximizing growth and customer volume across our digital portfolio. The team includes leadership of the digital commerce, digital marketing, and marketing customer journey functions for all digital transactions in North America. The director will identify, prioritize, and execute comprehensive, digital commerce strategies that align with business and marketing goals. This role will oversee key metrics including site traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and upselling through data-driven analysis and A/B testing. The Director will partner with teams across marketing including marketing strategy, digital product, measurement, and content to measure and oversee the transactional and revenue trends of our websites and mobile apps. They will implement and manage digital personalization strategies and our approach to discoverability through AI across the digital portfolio.

The Director will define and optimize a balanced strategy across marketing channels including search (SEO and SEM), programmatic (display, video), direct marketing (email, SMS), partnerships (affiliates and affinity accounts), and other signal-based digital marketing channels to drive qualified traffic and transactional growth. The Director will oversee and manage the North American digital commerce budget, track channel key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure progress and results are communicated to operational and marketing leadership.

This position is located at the Corporate Headquarters in Clayton, MO.

Responsibilities

We are hiring now for an immediate opening. Responsibilities include:
  • Own digital commerce strategy and performance within Marketing across North America markets, translating the global vision into region-specific strategies aligned with brand, customer, competition, and business priorities
  • Direct regional implementation and execution across Digital Strategy and Performance Marketing, ensuring alignment and accountability across SEO, SEM, programmatic, email, mobile, affiliates, and partnerships
  • Lead a high-performing team responsible for executing digital commerce initiatives across lines of business including reservations, sales, and lead generation across North America
  • Manage and optimize the North American digital commerce budget, tracking KPI's and determining investment based on channel performance, market conditions
  • Establish and drive strategic frameworks for North American testing, personalization, and optimization roadmaps, using A/B testing and customer data to improve end-to-end digital journeys
  • Build and manage North American digital channel strategies across SEO, SEM, programmatic, email, mobile, affiliates, and partnerships to strengthen commerce effectiveness and growth
  • Collaborate with Operations and IT to ensure digital commerce initiatives are regionally executable, scalable, and integrated with systems, processes, and customer touch-points
  • Partner with North American Marketing and Content teams to ensure digital experiences, messaging, and campaigns are aligned to regional customer needs and drive measurable engagement
  • Manage regional agency and vendor relationships, ensuring delivery against performance expectations and alignment with North American and broader global objectives
  • Leverage data and analytics to monitor digital performance, identify trends, and deliver clear, data-driven insights and business impacts to North American leadership to guide regional decision-making
  • Ensure North American compliance with data privacy, digital security, and regulatory requirements, adapting practices to regional standards and risk considerations
  • Monitor regional market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies, recommending adjustments that strengthen North American digital commerce capabilities and performance
  • Provide clear, data-driven reporting and insights to North American leadership, translating performance into business impact and guiding ongoing optimization efforts

Qualifications

Minimum:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Technology, or other applicable field
  • 10+ years of Digital Commerce or Marketing experience
  • 5+ years experience managing leaders and high-performing teams across complex organizations
  • 5+ years of strong experience in digital performance channels, commerce platforms, and marketing technology ecosystems
  • 5+ years of strategic marketing experience across B2C and B2B channels, including SEM, email, organic search, and display
  • 5+ years of agency management experience, including planning and tactical development, budget development, and optimizing annual budgets
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Preferred:
  • Marketing Product/Technology Experience
