Summary

We have an immediate opening for a Digital Business Partner to join our team and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders in an assigned business area. In this position, you will act as the primary connection between the business and Digital, helping leaders identify opportunities, prioritize initiatives, translate business needs into actionable requirements, and drive adoption of digital solutions. This role combines relationship management, business analysis, process improvement, reporting, automation, and AI enablement to help deliver meaningful business outcomes.

Candidates for this position may be required to pass pre-employment and periodic screenings, including background checks, drug and alcohol tests, or other necessary assessments.

Some of the work that you will do:

Strategic Digital Support

  • Partner with leaders to identify opportunities where technology, data, reporting, automation, and AI can improve business outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a digital roadmap aligned with business strategy and enterprise priorities.
  • Build strong partnerships across the organization and serve as the Digital representative in business discussions, planning activities, and leadership forums.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve business processes before technology is applied.


Tactical Digital Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for digital needs, questions, and opportunities within the assigned business area.
  • Gather, document, and validate business requirements while helping stakeholders prioritize work based on business value.
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements for technical teams and support projects through testing, deployment, and adoption.
  • Develop or enhance reports, dashboards, Power Platform solutions, and other approved digital tools.
  • Support change adoption efforts and help business teams realize value from delivered solutions.


Here are the skills that you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering, technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Seven or more years of experience in digital business partnership, business analysis, product management, process improvement, technology consulting, or a related role.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, and align digital solutions with business and enterprise priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and document business requirements, facilitate prioritization, solve complex problems, and drive initiatives from concept through adoption while operating effectively at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise applications, analytics, automation, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and AI-enabled business capabilities.
  • Commitment to supporting and promoting WesTech's safety culture.
  • Ability to complete domestic and/or international travel, up to 10%.

  • Master's degree in business, information systems, engineering, technology, or a related field.
  • Ten or more years of related experience supporting business-facing technology initiatives.
  • Experience in an engineered-to-order, manufacturing, industrial equipment, project delivery, or field operations environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, Power BI, Power Platform, SharePoint, or Microsoft Copilot.
  • Professional certifications in business analysis, project management, process improvement, change management, or Power Platform technologies.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform tasks while in a sedentary position using a computer and phone.
  • Frequently required to engage in talking, hearing, and visual focus.
  • Regularly required to move throughout the facility, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
