About the Role:

The Diagnostic Radiology Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the daily operations of the radiology department to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This position is responsible for managing a team of radiologic technologists, coordinating workflow, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The supervisor ensures that imaging procedures are performed accurately and efficiently, supporting timely diagnosis and treatment for patients. The Diagnostic Radiology Supervisor also leads continuous quality improvement initiatives and staff development programs to maintain excellence in service delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiography program
  • Current and valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography.
  • Medical Radiographer License in the State of Nebraska
  • American Heart Association BLS Certificate

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of radiologic technologists and support personnel within the diagnostic radiology department.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as institutional policies related to radiation safety and patient care.
  • Manage scheduling and workflow to optimize department efficiency and minimize patient wait times.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide training, and support professional development for radiology staff.
  • Oversee maintenance and quality control of radiology equipment to ensure operational readiness and safety.
