Diagnostic Imaging Sales Operations Specialist (Nashville, TN or Cambridge, MA)

As a DI Sales Operations Specialist you will support the Philips Imaging Systems’ field sales organization to produce a more efficient sales process.  The team’s main objective is to significantly improve the sales force productivity and effectiveness, providing support throughout the entire end-to-end process from quotation to revenue recognition.

Your role:

  • Work with Sales Representatives to create, edit, and submit customer-facing quotations, proposals, understanding the intricacies of configurations and customer needs and driving order intake by providing transactional support and problem-solving skills.
  • Providing triage assistance to the Field Sales organization to include execution on standard processes and one-off situations requiring research to follow up with a recommended path to resolution.
  • Working with Sales Representatives to submit Change Order requests – following up on all pending approvals to ensure approvers have all required information and submit Customer Concession requests – facilitating the process by ensuring all required steps are taken to confirm approval in a timely manner.
  • Assisting Sales Representatives with creating and submitting SalesForce.com (SFDC) transactions, such as Sales Contract Support Requests, Trade-In Requests, Service Contract Support Requests, Opportunities, etc.
  • Supporting Sales Representatives by working on various reports (Not Bookable, Aged Change Orders Pending Customer Signature, etc.) to ensure orders are booked and revenue is recognized, using LEAN tools and methods to deliver reporting excellence.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience supporting a sales organization in a sales support, order management, quoting/contracting, sales operations, or related role; healthcare industry experience preferred.
  • Your skills include proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Excel; SAP experience is preferred.
  •  You have a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent skill/experience).
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
  • You’re a highly organized and process-oriented professional with experience managing quoting, order management, contracts, and other sales support activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You’re an effective communicator and collaborative team player with strong stakeholder management skills and a proven ability to deliver results across cross-functional teams.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office based role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Cambridge, MA is $89,000 to 153,000.

The pay range for this position in Nashville, TN is $85,000 to 136,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.   

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.  Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.  Details about our benefits can be found . 

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position.  For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Cambridge, MA or Nashville, TN.
