Job Title:Diagnostic / European Automotive Technician

Job Overview:We are looking for Advanced Diagnostic Automotive Technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for must seek out solutions to tough problems and have a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- High-level operation of specialized diagnostic equipment, including lab scopes (e.g., PicoScope), multi-meters, and factory/aftermarket scan tools to pinpoint root causes.
- Perform control module reprogramming, software updates, and ADAS calibrations.
- Conduct thorough, accurate digital vehicle inspections to identify immediate safety concerns and future maintenance needs, clearly communicating findings to the service advisor team.
- Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
- Serve as the shop's go-to technical resource, assisting and mentoring mid-level or apprentice technicians with complex hurdles to elevate the whole team.
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
QualificationsQualifications: - Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 5+ years of professional automotive technician experience, with a minimum of 2 years specializing in European vehicles at a dealership or independent Euro shop.
- Proficient with ODIS, VCDS, or equivalent diagnostic and programming systems
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements:- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
