JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

What This Role Is About:
You’ll split your time between training and quality review. One day, you’re leading a virtual session to help auditors tackle complex cases — the next, you’re reviewing audits and coaching coders on accuracy and best practices. Your work directly drives the success of our team and the value we deliver to clients.

Your Day-to-Day:
✔️ Train and mentor new and experienced DRG auditors
✔️ Build easy-to-follow training materials, guides, and online modules
✔️ Review audits for accuracy, provide helpful feedback, and coach coders
✔️ Spot trends, analyze root causes, and improve overall coding quality
✔️ Help shape smarter, more efficient audit processes
✔️ Keep our team up to date with the latest rules, tools, and best practices


JOB QUALIFICATIONS

What You Bring:
✅ 5+ years of DRG and/or APR DRG auditing and training experience
✅ RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CPC certifications (required)
✅ Strong communication and presentation skills
✅ Deep knowledge of DRG audit processes and compliance standards
✅ Experience coaching others and developing training materials
✅ Organized, detail-oriented, and great at giving feedback that makes a difference
