Job Summary
Support the integration of security practices into software development and delivery processes through automation, infrastructure management, and continuous security improvement. The role involves maintaining development infrastructure, incorporating new technologies into the software development process, supporting system administration activities, and ensuring software and infrastructure solutions meet customer, security, technical, schedule, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform technical planning, design, development, integration, verification, and validation across the total system life cycle.
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug software solutions addressing business and mission requirements.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using coding, scripting, and automation tools.
• Integrate security practices and automated security testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Support development infrastructure and perform system administration functions as needed.
• Apply cybersecurity, software, and hardware infrastructure standards throughout the development life cycle.
• Analyze system requirements, interfaces, dependencies, and technical constraints to develop appropriate solutions.
• Perform functional and timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition activities.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software feature definitions and acceptance criteria.
• Support cloud, container, and orchestration technologies including Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure and development processes using tools such as Git, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
• Apply threat modeling, risk assessment, and security testing practices to development and operational processes.
• Identify, assess, prioritize, and manage security and operational risks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software, infrastructure, security, and operational issues.
• Correct program errors and analyze system capabilities to resolve program problems.
• Prepare operating instructions and maintain technical documentation related to program development and system operations.
• Validate the incorporation of features and use cases into implemented designs.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to address technical and security requirements.
• Apply software development standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Ensure software standards and applicable security, compliance, and governance requirements are met.
• Stay current with security threats, technologies, and DevSecOps practices.
• Support systems throughout development, testing, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal activities.

Required Qualifications
• At least 2 years of DevSecOps experience.
• Active TS clearance with ability to obtain SCI.
• Security+ certification.
• Demonstrated experience with Ansible.
• Demonstrated experience with Terraform.
• Demonstrated experience with Git.
• Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes.
• Demonstrated experience with Helm.
• Experience with AWS or OpenStack.
• Experience with Linux.
• Strong technical expertise in coding, scripting, and automation tools.
• Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and tools.
• Knowledge of threat modeling, risk assessment techniques, and security testing.
• Ability to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines through automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development, operations, and security teams.

• Experience with HADES.
