Position Description: We are seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join a mission-focused team supporting critical federal government systems. This role is ideal for a security-minded engineer with deep experience in DevSecOps, CI/CD automation, cloud security, and secure software delivery across classified and enterprise environments.
The successful candidate will help design, implement, and maintain secure development pipelines while partnering with software engineers, security teams, and operations personnel to integrate security throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities - Build, maintain, and optimize secure CI/CD pipelines for enterprise applications.
- Implement DevSecOps best practices across development, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Integrate automated security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance controls into delivery pipelines.
- Support .NET application environments and strengthen application security posture.
- Mentor development teams on secure coding practices and security-by-design principles.
- Manage and maintain enterprise development security platforms and vetted package management solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal security requirements and operational standards.
- Provide technical leadership and innovative solutions in both on-premises and cloud environments.
Required Skills & Education - Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- DoD 8140-compliant certification such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA CySA+, or higher.
- 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, or related engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, infrastructure automation, and cloud security tools.
- Experience deploying and operating enterprise security platforms in classified and multi-environment infrastructures.
- Strong understanding of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC), vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience supporting large-scale federal or defense programs with complex security requirements.
