Job DescriptionIn your role of Senior DevOps Specialist, you will play a key role within the engineering organization and collaborate closely with architecture, product-aligned teams, and software developers. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure and platform capabilities that enable product teams to deliver efficiently and autonomously. With a strong hands-on approach, you will contribute to the maturity of our Azure cloud environments, CI/CD practices, observability standards, and infrastructure automation, while taking ownership of key platform initiatives and large-impact infrastructure projects that strengthen the organization's operational excellence, resilience, and security posture.
What you'll do:- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure.
- Own key infrastructure and platform initiatives from design to implementation, ensuring successful delivery of large-impact technical projects.
- Lead or significantly contribute to strategic DevOps projects related to cloud architecture, platform modernization, reliability improvement, deployment automation, and infrastructure standardization.
- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows to support reliable, efficient, and auditable software delivery.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools and frameworks aligned with the organization's cloud standards.
- Contribute to the definition and evolution of platform standards, deployment patterns, and DevOps best practices across teams.
- Improve the reliability and operational health of systems by implementing monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and observability solutions.
- Collaborate with architecture and development teams to design infrastructure and platform solutions that support performance, scalability, and security requirements.
- Review cloud resource usage and contribute to optimization initiatives related to performance, cost, and operational efficiency.
- Support the implementation of secure cloud practices, including identity and access management, networking, secrets management, and environment hardening.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and platform issues, and contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
- Mentor and support other team members by sharing technical knowledge, standards, and DevOps best practices.
- Evaluate tools, technologies, and technical approaches to help guide infrastructure and platform evolution.
- Perform any other related task.
Working Conditions:- Permanent full-time position (40 hours per week).
- Flexible hybrid or remote work arrangement.
- Occasional in-office presence may be required during the year.
- Candidates must reside in the province of Quebec.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Significant experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, automation, or related technical roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud architecture patterns.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts, automation workflows, and deployment strategies for complex systems.
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation tools.
- Good understanding of networking, cloud security, access control, and platform reliability principles.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools for production systems and cloud environments.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies is a strong asset.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, .NET, or similar technologies.
- Ability to work autonomously, make sound technical decisions, and balance quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of complex initiatives and deliver meaningful improvements with broad organizational impact.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in English; French is an asset.
