Overview

The DevOps Platform Engineer will oversee a variety of platform and product deployments. The DevOps Platform Engineer will collaborate with developers, scrum teams and information security to oversee releases.

Core Responsibilities

Automate and orchestrate promotion process systems.

Build Automation to support product development and data analytics initiatives.

Formulate & deliver actionable recommendations for real time improvement.

Work as an individual contributor and/or be part of a team developing and delivering both prototype and production systems

Work with product management to direct priorities and ensure successful execution.

Assesses and analyses release components for input to release scheduling.

Skills Qualifications

3 years' experience in a DevSecOps role at the enterprise level Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools 3 years' experience using Azure DevOps

Automation experience with at least several configuration/deployment management systems including Jenkins and Azure DevOps. Knowledge of open-source tools.

Knowledge and experience in Agile SAFe Continuous Delivery Pipeline and DevOps environments. Experience modifying Azure DevOps pipelines using yaml

3 years' experience using scripting languages, PowerShell, bash, batch, awk, JavaScript, perl

Education

Required:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline Trained in software development

Trained in Agile, Scrum and or SAFe Framework

Training and knowledge of the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment CI/CD techniques

Preferred:

DevSecOps Certified Professional (DSOCP)

SAFe certification

Authorization to work in the United States is required

Compensation

The wage range for this role takes into account a broad array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range below applies as long as the work is performed in Connecticut; the Knights of Columbus reserves the right to adjust the wage range if the position is performed in another location. At the Knights of Columbus, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $117,500 - $200,000.
