DevOps Lead TECHM-JOB-24939
Skill: Assertive Communication
Role: Sr Developer/ Tech Manager-Devops
Location: Houston, TX
1. Define a standard for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) deployments
Objective: Establish a standard for IaC deployments using GitHub
Deliverable: A repo with a basic architecture, naming convention strategy, parameter management strategy, secret management strategy, and versioning and pipeline handling strategies
Purpose: Address issues encountered during the opening project regarding GitHub variable management
2. Develop a mechanism to convert Azure DevOps YAML to GitHub Actions
Objective: Explore a pattern that allows consumption of Azure DevOps YAML as input for GitHub pipelines
Deliverable: A script or process that converts Azure DevOps YAML pipeline templating into GitHub workflows
Purpose: Leverage the power of Azure DevOps YAML pipeline templating to improve the scalability of GitHub pipeline schema and structure
