This role focuses on working within a team of engineers supporting a variety of applications that range from on-premises,cloud, and platform-as-a-service offerings. Individuals hired for this position will work as part of a cross-functional team supporting project teams associated with individual applications and groups of applications.

This position is hybrid in-person and remote-work with in-person effort expected up to three days a week as part of team work days, planning, and prioritizing a backlog of tasks. Job location is primarily in Northern Virginia, with potential travel to client sites (Washington DC).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support operations and maintenance of applications running on-premises and in the cloud.
  • Develop automated tooling and scripts to assist in reduction of manual effort in support of applications.
  • Contribute back to project software to improve processes, reduce technical debt, and/or increase visibility and monitoring.
  • Assist in debugging of applications, databases, and middleware across technologies, utilizing AI agents and code tooling to assist.
  • Configure monitoring, alerting, and notification tooling supporting cloud and on-premises applications.
  • Develop cloud-first applications, infrastructure as code, and tooling to improve business processes and/or reduce operations and maintenance efforts.
  • Support and maintain Identity Management Systems at federal client (Okta-based)
