DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, particularly Azure, as well as hands-on experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, container management (Docker), Terraform, and GitHub CI/CD pipelines. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a robust, scalable, and efficient DevOps infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our development and deployment processes.

The Expertise Required- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based infrastructure on Microsoft Azure to support scalable and high-performance applications.
- Azure Services: Leverage Azure cloud services such as Azure data stores, Azure containers, Azure log management solutions, Azure Entra, and Azure App Services to optimize application delivery.
- Scalability and Performance: Architect infrastructure solutions to ensure scalability, ensuring systems can handle increasing load while maintaining performance. Implement auto-scaling policies and optimize cloud resource usage for cost and performance efficiency.
- Data Engineering: Support and manage Databricks environments for big data processing, including the configuration of clusters, security, and integration with other cloud services.
- Container Management: Utilize Docker for containerization, and deploy/manage containers through Azure containers, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or other orchestration tools.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Implement and manage infrastructure using Terraform, ensuring a scalable, repeatable, and version-controlled setup.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Monitoring & Logging: Set up and manage comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system performance, security, and availability.
- Security: Design and enforce security practices for cloud infrastructure, containerized environments, and CI/CD pipelines. Implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies, network security controls, encryption, and vulnerability assessments to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, system engineers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure DevOps practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest improvements to infrastructure, processes, and automation to improve system efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure as code.
- Strong experience in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Expertise in monitoring and logging tools, such as Azure Monitor, Datadog, or ELK stack.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, networking, and encryption.
Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience- Minimum Education:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certifications (preferred)
- Terraform Associate certification (preferred)
- Docker and Kubernetes certifications (e.g., CKA, CKAD) (preferred)
- Minimum Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
- Strong experience with Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric in a production environment.
- Expertise in containerization technologies, specifically Docker, and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
How We Work Together- Location: Remote within the United States. This role requires 100% of work to be performed in a remote office environment.
- Travel: This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.
- Physical demands associated with this position Include: The ability to use keyboards and other computer equipment.
The expected pay range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 USD per year for full time team members.
