Who we need

Reporting to the Director, Information Security and IT Operations, we are hiring a DevOps Administrator to help strengthen and standardize DevOps practices across our technology environment. In this role, you will design and manage CI/CD pipelines, implement infrastructure-as-code practices, and support cloud platforms and identity systems that enable secure, reliable, and scalable technology delivery.

Working across multiple engineering teams and external partners, you will play a key role in bringing greater consistency, security, and operational maturity to how we manage infrastructure, deployments, and platform services. This is an opportunity to join at an early stage of DevOps maturity within the organization, where your expertise will help shape standards, improve automation, and establish best practices that support long-term scalability and resilience.

This job posting is for a newly created vacancy that is a full-time, hybrid role working three days per week on site in our Toronto office.

What's in it for you:

Build and shape DevOps practices. This is an opportunity to help mature DevOps practices across the organization. You will contribute to improving CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and platform reliability while helping establish consistent DevOps standards across teams.

Work across modern platforms and tools. You will work across cloud infrastructure, identity platforms, and automation pipelines supporting APIs, data engineering initiatives, and customer-facing digital products. This role offers exposure to infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD automation, and enterprise identity systems.

Influence platform reliability and security. Working closely with engineering, architecture, and security teams, you will help ensure infrastructure and deployment practices are scalable, secure, and aligned with modern DevOps and cloud best practices.

As our new DevOps Administrator, you will:
  • Implement and strengthen DevOps practices. You will help design, implement, and continuously improve DevOps practices that enable stronger collaboration between development, operations, and security teams while supporting reliable and scalable software delivery.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. You will design, manage, and improve CI/CD pipelines that automate application build, testing, and deployment processes, enabling faster and more reliable delivery across development teams.
  • Manage cloud infrastructure and automation. You will provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, ensuring environments are scalable, secure, and consistently deployed across development, testing, and production.
  • Support identity and enterprise platforms. You will administer and support identity platforms including single sign-on (SSO), federation, and authentication services, helping ensure secure access management across internal and partner systems.
  • Collaborate across engineering and operations teams. You will work closely with engineering, architecture, security, and vendor teams to ensure infrastructure and deployment processes are secure, reliable, and aligned with organizational technology standards.
  • Monitor infrastructure and platform health. You will monitor system performance, availability, and operational health across cloud infrastructure and applications, proactively identifying issues and improving system reliability.
  • Drive automation and operational improvements. You will identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen platform reliability through improved tooling, monitoring, and infrastructure practices.

You bring:
  • The DevOps experience. You have experience working in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering roles where you have helped automate deployments, improve infrastructure management, and support reliable software delivery across teams.
  • Infrastructure and automation expertise. You have experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and working with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform. You are comfortable automating infrastructure provisioning and improving deployment reliability across environments.
  • Cloud platform experience. You have experience working with AWS cloud environments and supporting scalable infrastructure, including provisioning resources, maintaining platform reliability, and applying cloud security best practices.
  • Identity and access management knowledge. You have experience working with identity platforms such as Okta or other Identity Provider (IdP) solutions, including configuring authentication flows, SSO integrations, and identity federation across systems.
  • Experience supporting enterprise platforms. You have familiarity with enterprise systems such as CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and are comfortable supporting system configuration, user access management, and integrations as part of a broader platform environment.
  • Technical awareness across modern platforms. You understand how APIs, DevOps pipelines, and platform services work together in modern technology environments. You are comfortable collaborating with engineering and architecture teams to support secure and scalable deployments.
  • Collaboration and problem-solving skills. You enjoy working across teams and helping bring structure to complex environments. You communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and contribute to improving systems, processes, and operational reliability.
