Job Role: Clinical Device Integration Engineer

Duration: Long Term

Location: Woburn, MA - Occasional travel required to other client locations as mentioned below.

Client: BILH/Lahey

Job Responsibilities:
  • Focus on integrating clinical devices with EHR systems.
  • Responsible for the ongoing support troubleshooting and maintenance of integrated clinical devices being supported by the Masimo interface.
  • Lead in collaboration between internal teams including interfaces, EHR application teams, Clinical engineering and Infrastructure teams, as well as external vendors and partners.
  • The lead on integration projects, adhering to the IT System Lifecycle methodology, producing functional and /or technical specifications, conducting meetings, completing system upgrades and coordinating volume testing, leading and adhering to the BILH IT system change management processes
  • Work with the user community to develop functional business requirements that adhere to the standard IT project methodology
  • The lead in resolving cross-functional issues that are escalated throughout the development, testing, implementation, and support of the lifecycle.
  • Supports assigned production environments, troubleshoots technical application issues, documents incoming requests whether handled internally in IS or with a vendor. Delivers high quality support during the implementation of new devices.
  • Provides Clinical device related guidance to other team members.
  • Maintains/Writes documentation and procedures for managing integrated clinical devices with the EHR.
  • Provide updates on status and progress of support tasks and projects.
