Title:
Device Emulation Engineer
KBR is seeking an impactful engineer to design and create interface emulators to support development of advanced communication systems prototypes. The ideal candidate will have the ability to understand system decompositions and interfaces and create corresponding subsystem stand-ins and interface emulators. This position requires an active DoD Secret clearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implementation of interface emulators
Creation of design documentation
Troubleshooting of issues during integration and testing
Work Environment:
Location: On-site with the possibility of hybrid arrangement
Travel Requirements: Willing and able to travel (up to 25%, typically CONUS)

Qualifications:
Required:
Active/Current DoD Secret clearance required for consideration
Bachelor's Degree
3-5 years applicable experience
Experience in Simulink and SpeedGoat
Experience interfacing with FPGAs
Good oral and communication skills
Willingness to support technical exchange meetings, test planning, and provide technical reports to management and our customer
Demonstrated experience and the ability to work within a team environment
Desired:
Possess strong oral and written communications skills, and must be able to present findings/results to internal and external organizations
Willing and able to travel (up to 25%, typically CONUS)
MS degree
6 years applicable experience
Basic Compensation:
For MA only, the salary range is approximately $98,000 - $146,900 USD annually. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
