Job DescriptionLockheed Martin is seeking a motivated self starter for a Quality Engineer Staff position located in Grand Prairie, TX. This individual will be supporting the RF Product Center Quality Engineering team during all phases of development and production.
As the Quality Engineer Staff you will be responsible for collaborating across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams while representing the voice of quality in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
- Represent the voice of quality throughout product development and production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic QualificationsSTEM Degree at Bachelors level or higher.
Must be a US Citizen and have ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the secret level.
Thorough understanding of Quality principles in the Aerospace industry.
Previous development experience in Hardware Quality Engineering.
Reviewing and approving standards, engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality procedures.
Ability to accurately interpret drawings, specifications, and requirements.
Previous experience with the control and disposition of non-conforming material.
Ability identify and implement creative solutions to complex problems while working within the confines of Lockheed Martin and/or customer requirements.
Experience performing root cause and corrective action activities utilizing one or more formal RCCA tools.
A strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated presentation skills to cross-functional teams and levels.
Desired skillsSupplier Quality Engineering experience.
Experience with transition to production activities.
Thorough understanding of AS9100 and/or ISO9001 Quality Management Systems.
Effective team building and collaboration skills.

Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $99,700 - $175,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
