About the divisionCommercial Real Estate (CRE) sits within Investment Bank Fixed Income & Currencies. It provides the financing behind the real estate portfolios of public corporations, private equity groups and institutional investors.
Our CRE Team originates and distributes debt via a variety of channels including commercial mortgage-backed securities and loan syndications, or holds the loans on balance sheet. Consistently ranked at the top of global league tables, DB is a leader in its field thanks to its global footprint, breadth of products, depth of capabilities and success in delivering the most complex transactions.
During the rotational program you'll work across CRE Teams to see firsthand how we respond to market trends, deliver for our clients, and make a difference in the world. By experiencing a range of teams, you'll discover where you skills are best suited and where your interests lie.
About the divisionYour day-to-day tasks will vary depending on your role; you might be evaluating a client's credit risk profile, performing property market research, modelling property cashflows, or preparing loan materials and reports. Your learning curve will be steep as you get involved in current deals and interact with various teams involved in the loan origination process, you'll enjoy plenty of support from managers and mentors, along with unparalleled global exposure.

- Possess strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- 3.5 minimum GPA preferred
- Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
To be eligible for 2027 Internship Program you must:
- Complete your studies (all final exams, coursework, and have no outstanding requirements for graduation) between December 1 2027, and July 31, 2028
- Be able to start full-time work in July 2028, subject to local working legislation and visa requirements
- Possess no more than 12 months' relevant full-time work experience

The annualized salary for this position is $110,000. Interns are not eligible for incentive compensation.
