Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus an associate or technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of eight years in electric distribution design and staking.
• Experience leading complex projects independently in field and office settings.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills for client interactions.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and maintain client relationships under deadlines.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Commute to Brighton, CO or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design of medium-voltage distribution lines and upgrades.
• Quickly learn client software and processes, training junior staff.
• Conduct advanced field staking activities like route evaluations and site measurements.
• Develop and approve construction drawings and work orders.
• Analyze field data and system records for efficient design solutions.
• Act as the primary technical contact for clients and project stakeholders.
• Provide mentorship and quality control for junior designers.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination with teams.
