This role is a limited term assignment targeted to end by October 2026, with possibility of extension through end of 2026.
WHAT AWAITS YOU.
• Design interaction flows, UI components, and prototypes a broad range of projects, carrying work from early concepts through testing, prototyping, and delivery.
• Learn from senior staff while beginning to mentor junior designers, balancing skill development, quality, consistency, and encouragement.
• Design and shape products using diverse graphic design craft, processes, and methods for multiple applications.
• Design, test, and prototype new or improved UI concepts, aiming for high-quality solutions that meet or exceed project objectives.
• Applies advanced UI design knowledge to moderately high complex assignments with growing independence, bringing creative problem solving and analytical thinking to ambiguous briefs.
• Evaluate UI/UX concepts for usability, functionality, production methods, market characteristics, and client specifications, integrating user research findings, conceptual models, and rough sketches into resolved design.
• Work in cross-functional, agile teams using design thinking; assists in creation and delivery of impactful presentations work to colleagues and clients, folding in required modification back into the design.
• Estimate hours accurately, staying informed through reading and events, and coordinating with engineering, marketing, production, and sales to refine design concepts; supports research and vendor liaison.
• Use AI tools thoughtfully in your design workflow and help shape interfaces and interactions for AI-powered features.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of prior work experience in Interaction/UI/UX Design or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, methods and techniques and production processes, with a developing sense of consulting, market research and commercial awareness.
• A portfolio that shows depth of visual craft: typography, layout, hierarchy, color, and composition handled with intention
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in presenting your own work.
• Self-direction and the ability to work with minimal supervision from lead design staff.
• Comfort using AI tools as part of your design workflow (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Figma AI, Midjourney, or similar).
• Strong computer and software skills in:Adobe Creative Suite,Microsoft Office Suite Figma or other cloud collaboration and prototyping tools.
• Preferences:
• Knowledge of 3D applications (Blender, Cinema 4D, etc.)
• Knowledge of Motion Graphics Tools (After Effects, Rive, etc.)
• Knowledge of common interaction programming languages (Processing, JavaScript, HTML, etc.).

This is a hybrid role that requires regular attendance in the office.
The expected annual salary range for this position is $90,614.00 - 117,266.00.
The selected candidate's education, skills, experience, and location will be used to determine the final salary offer. All pay ranges are based on a full-time work schedule. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
