Keystone Engineering is currently seeking experienced E&I Designers to join our Nassau Bay team.Position Type: Full Time
Location: Nassau Bay, TX
Work Environment: Office/Sedentary
Travel Requirements: Occasional site visits required
Essential Functions:- Understands drafting requirements for his/her discipline.
- Adapt to Client Drafting Standards and Specifications which apply to his/her discipline for assigned project.
- Understands the designs for any system within his/her discipline once design guidelines and system criteria have been established.
- Responsible for the constructability, operability, and maintainability of the design within his/her discipline for assigned project.
- Provides comprehensive, efficient, and cost-effective technical input into design related to his/her discipline for assigned project.
- Responsible for the preparation of detailed design drawings within his/her discipline, in accordance with engineering design, required as project deliverables.
- Provides continual guidance to drafters within his/her discipline for assigned project.
- Communicates and coordinates with Lead Designer for respective discipline to promote smooth, accurate, and scheduled completion of deliverables.
- Maintains and keeps organizes a Job Data Book which contains all the pertinent information used during the design for his/her discipline for assigned project.
- Reviews drawings within his/her discipline for assigned project on a regular basis for completeness, overall quality, and adherence to standards.
- Ensures all drawings within his/her discipline for assigned project have been properly checked and backchecked.
- Prepares and/or directs the preparation of final drawing plots and copies for transmittal relative to all project deliverables.
- Possesses an awareness of project schedule and budget.
- Assists with Project Audits when required.
Requirements:- High School diploma or GED
- 5 - 10 years experience
- Understands facilities drawings, cable routing, details, cable tray routing, cable schedules, motor starter schematics, I/O list, panel design, wiring diagrams and schematics.
Experience Preferred:- Associates degree in CAD
- Previous O & G experience
