Full Job Description
We are looking for a Design Team Leader who will report to the Project Manager to help us lead a design team passionate about motorsports and driven by innovation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage innovative design projects that define the very essence of BRP's reputation.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
  • Serve as a manager for all designers in your group to ensure the team's objectives are met;
  • Oversee the execution of design activities in accordance with best practices, such as technical drawings, bills of materials, digital models, and other documentation;
  • Ensure the professional development of each member of your team;
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure product development and on-time delivery of tooling and components;
  • Monitor and establish KPIs based on departmental objectives;
  • Influence and contribute to your department's strategies and direction with a focus on continuous improvement.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
  • DEC in mechanical engineering or other relevant field;
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant design experience;
  • Good communication skills in French and English, both oral and written;
    *English is required because the person will have to read technical and regulatory documentation not available in French and communicate with international suppliers.
  • Good knowledge of design technologies and methodologies;
  • Good command of Catia V5 and Smarteam;
  • Interest and aptitude for team management;
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and priority management skills;
