Reporting to: Gallery Manager

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Gallery Concierge & Sales Consultant to join our San Francisco Design Gallery - a role that blends consultative sales, luxury hospitality, and gallery stewardship within a highly curated, design-forward environment.

As a key member of the Gallery team, you will cultivate client relationships, guide customers through the Lumens assortment and Gallery experience, and contribute directly to sales growth generated through the showroom. This role is both client-facing and sales-oriented, balancing relationship development and pipeline management with maintaining the elevated hospitality and presentation standards of the Gallery.

  • Total target compensation is $80k - $90k

What You'll Do

Client Engagement & Sales

  • Welcome and engage designers, architects, homeowners, and trade professionals with warmth, professionalism, and confidence.
  • Guide clients through the Gallery experience, introducing featured brands, collections, designers, and product categories.
  • Build and nurture client relationships that drive repeat engagement and long-term sales opportunities.
  • Qualify walk-in and appointment-based customers to identify project scope, timeline, and sales potential.
  • Own and manage a pipeline of Gallery-generated opportunities through proactive follow-up and relationship management.
  • Support the sales process from initial consultation through product recommendations, quoting, order placement, follow-up, and delivery coordination.
  • Coordinate proactively with Customer Operations and fulfillment teams to ensure a seamless client experience from initial consultation through delivery
  • Collaborate closely with the regional sales team to transition or co-manage opportunities as projects evolve.
  • Utilize CRM tools to maintain organized client records, track activity, and prioritize outreach.
  • Contribute to Gallery sales goals, client engagement metrics, and team performance objectives.


Gallery Experience & Hospitality

  • Maintain exceptional hospitality standards that reflect the Lumens brand and client experience.
  • Ensure the Gallery remains visually polished, organized, and presentation-ready at all times.
  • Support appointment coordination and help create seamless experiences for client meetings and consultations.
  • Assist with Gallery events, designer programming, brand activations, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Support visual merchandising updates, sample organization, and showroom presentation standards.
  • Coordinate light operational responsibilities that contribute to the overall client and team experience within the Gallery.


Collaboration & Operations

  • Partner closely with the Gallery team and regional sales organization to support shared business goals.
  • Maintain strong communication across teams regarding client activity, appointments, follow-ups, and project opportunities.
  • Assist with Gallery scheduling, client coordination, and sales support activities as needed.
  • Contribute ideas and feedback that enhance the client experience, Gallery operations, and overall business performance.
