Qualifications

• Experienced in developing component and vehicle DVP&R.
• Knowledgeable in defining functional objectives and constructing DFMEA.
• Familiar with NX, Team Center, and change management processes.
• Strong passion for automotive performance characteristics.
• Ability to develop action plans for issue resolution.
• Leadership experience in managing large teams and closing performance gaps.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and release of Steering Column Control Module and associated hardware.
• Conduct design work focusing on vehicle functional and packaging requirements.
• Utilize DFSS methods in product development and validation.
• Perform structural engineering and analysis for components.
• Ensure electronic hardware and software are validated effectively.
• Complete necessary release documentation to meet program deadlines.
• Execute cost reduction initiatives within the engineering process.
• Collaborate with suppliers and various internal teams to advance project goals.
