  • Document and follow up on corrective actions from internal and external sources
  • Verify effectiveness of implemented corrective actions

This position contributes to our vision by:
• Ensure all activities at the design department are performed in accordance to the documented instructions
• Continuous monitoring of design & development activities performance compliance to customer, regulatory, internal and all other applicable requirements
• With design engineering team, define, document, monitor and evaluate the effectivity of the design quality plans
• Training, coaching and assurance of Engineering QRQC activity
• Function as internal IMS auditor as required by the company internal audit plan
• Document and follow-up internal and external corrective actions
• Ensure proper and on time response to all required actions (ensure proper analysis and action plans)
• Verify the effectiveness of the corrective actions implemented
• Maintain CA/PA system properly

Candidate skills & requirements

• Required - Science or engineering related bachelor degree or 6 years of related design quality engineering.
• Required - 3 to 5 years experience in aerospace industry or equivalent at engineering, design & development or quality positions
• Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO19011, AS9100, AS9145, ISO14001, OHSAS18001
• Experience in internal and external audit and audit techniques
• APQP Tools knowledge and domain, PDCA, DMAIC and other related tools knowledge
• Configuration and data management
• English proficient. Spanish and French are a plus
