Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing components such as Head Units, Meters, and Telematics.
• Required expertise in CATIA V5/V6 for design and modeling tasks.
• In-depth knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, necessary for collaboration and negotiation.
• Proficient in MS Office for documentation and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities for large-scale product development programs.
• Investigate feasibility and perform design using 3-D modeling software.
• Conduct layout reviews and create 2D drawings for project specifications.
• Analyze and resolve complex engineering problems independently.
• Create parts specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Negotiate with suppliers and component business units for optimal outcomes.
• Perform cost analysis, strength calculations, and material selection.
