Job DescriptionThe Facilities Construction Manager is responsible for the day to day management of Facilities Construction. This role is responsible for managing the operational budget, timeline, risks, and delivery of daily operations. The Facilities Construction Manager is also responsible for the delivery of capital projects in support of key regional and system wide initiatives. This role is responsible for leading a project team and ensures that key deliverables and deadlines are met. This role has direct reports, and is responsible for the leadership of contractors and vendors and ensuring that these parties embrace our Mission and Core Values and deliver the project as contracted.
Required Qualifications:- Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. - 3 years of healthcare construction management
- Supervisory experience of both direct reports and/or vendor management to include third party
- Experience with analyzing and negotiating financial terms for vendor services and construction proposals
Preferred Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree: Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration --or--
- Experience with new construction and tenant improvement project leadership -- or --
- Experience managing multiple teams of direct reports
- Upon hire: Healthcare Construction Certificate (HCC) or Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC)
- 6 years of construction management
