Chipton-Ross is seeking 5 Design and Analysis Engineer 4's for a hybrid (onsite/remote) opportunity in El Segundo, CA.
Hybrid 4 days onsite, 1 day remote.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)9+ years of engineering experience.
- Regular and predictable attendance is required..
- Experience in RF/Digital engineering.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
- Oversees the design and build of multiple satellite and avionics units.
- Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
- Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
- Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
- Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
- Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
- Makes recommendations for technology investments.
Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- 10 or more years of experience in RF/Microwave engineering.
- Experience with digital circuit design.
- Knowledge of FPGAs/ASICs.
- System engineering experience.
- Master of Science in Engineering.
- Prior Aerospace experience.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONMinimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
WORK HOURSFull-Time/First Shift
8:00 AM - 4:30 PMPossible OT opportunities.
