Job DescriptionThe ideal APP will be comfortable managing a full spectrum of general dermatology needs, including routine skin exams, suspicious lesion evaluation, inflammatory skin disease, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, hair and nail concerns, patient education, medication management, and coordination of follow-up care. This role is well suited for a provider who enjoys a steady clinical pace, values continuity of care, and wants to help expand dermatology access for patients in Enfield and surrounding communities.
Qualifications- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current national certification and an active or eligible Connecticut license.
- Dermatology experience preferred but not required; candidates with strong clinical judgment, a passion for dermatology, and a willingness to learn will be considered.
- Prior experience in medical dermatology, primary care, urgent care, family medicine, internal medicine, or another patient-facing clinical specialty is helpful.
- Comfort evaluating, diagnosing, treating, and educating patients across a broad range of dermatologic concerns, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, rosacea, benign lesions, and skin cancer screenings.
- Interest in performing or learning common dermatology procedures, including shave and punch biopsies, cryotherapy, intralesional injections, and minor excisions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with supervising physicians, clinical staff, and administrative team members.
- Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and commitment to timely, high-quality patient care.
- Excellent communication skills, professional bedside manner, and a compassionate, patient-first approach.
