JOB TITLE: Dermatologist
POSITION SUMMARY: The Dermatologist provides comprehensive medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology services in an outpatient setting. This role is responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The Dermatologist collaborates with clinical staff and leadership to ensure efficient clinic operations, positive patient outcomes, and an exceptional patient experience, while advancing a culture grounded in trust, excellence, innovation, and connection.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Clinical Care
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat dermatologic conditions including skin diseases, disorders, and lesions
- Perform in-office procedures such as biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other minor surgical interventions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide patient education on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care
- Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR)
Patient Experience
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with a focus on clear communication and education
- Ensure timely access to care and efficient patient flow
- Address patient questions and concerns in a professional and respectful manner
Collaboration & Care Coordination
- Work closely with primary care providers and specialists to coordinate care
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to optimize clinic operations
- Participate in case discussions and care planning as needed
Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to all clinical guidelines, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance metrics
- Maintain compliance with documentation, coding, and billing standards

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Dermatology
- Active, unrestricted medical license in Washington
- Completion of accredited dermatology residency program

- Ability to manage a high-volume outpatient clinic efficiently

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand, sit, and perform procedures for extended periods
- Fine motor skills required for dermatologic procedures
- Ability to lift and position equipment as needed
