Full Job Description
This position will report to the Special Projects Director and to the Mobilization Director. This position will co-lead community organizing efforts for the campaign's paid relational organizing efforts. The ideal candidate is someone with 2-3 cycles of experience in field or organizing who has a passion for direct voter contact and infrastructure building. Innovative tactics for recruitment and community engagement are highly encouraged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regularly identify recruitment opportunities at events and the planning and execution of staffing those events.
  • Stand up community organizing and outreach events like block parties and door-to-door canvassing, and plan and execute community outreach to increase the pipeline of new paid relational organizing candidates.
  • Draft community organizing language for texting scripts and for other forms of community and grassroots recruitment.
  • Oversee junior level staff who will assist with community organizing efforts.
  • Work interdepartmentally to identify community organizing opportunities through digital or paid media opportunities
  • Be responsible for meeting quantitative goals


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in a field or organizing role on political campaigns
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in common productivity and data tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Self-starter mentality with a willingness to take initiative
  • Experience with relational organizing programs is preferred, but not required
