Job Description:

Parsons is looking for a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to join our team. In this role you will support leading a highly skilled cybersecurity workforce focused on defending evolving and emerging threats to critical U.S. systems with the common goal to prevent and eradicate those threats. This includes management of a team of software/systems/test engineers, data scientists, and cyber threat analysts. This is a high impact role in a deadline-driven, demanding mission space.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Support Program Manager (PM) in day-to-day program operations ensuring production schedules, mission deliverables, and performance standards are consistently met.
  • Work with PM in the coordination of program functional support areas including Contract Management, Subcontract Management, Finance, and Security.
  • Collaborate with mission customers including leadership and technical points of contact to ensure transparency and alignment of program execution with government requirements.
  • Support program staffing requirements including writing job requisitions, posting requisitions via internal and external facing tools, and interfacing with corporate recruiters and subcontractor staffing partners.
  • Join interviews with potential candidates ensuring proper feedback loop. Implement actions to coordinate next steps to add candidates to the program team and support all onboarding activities.
  • Support mitigation of program risks to ensure timely and accurate solutions that support mission success.
  • Review contract modifications and support the preparation of program financial outputs including labor burn assessments and delivery of estimates to customer.
  • Provide input and/or provision program reports, briefings, quarterly reviews, performance assessments to both internal corporate senior leadership and customer/contracts leadership.


What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Intelligence, Management, Business or related field.
  • Current Program Management/Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Seven plus (7+) years' experience working as part of a Program Management Office (PMO) or supporting execution of a government contract.
  • Background leading high performance technical teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Experience supporting government proposal efforts.
  • Background in defensive cybersecurity mission space is helpful but not required.
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active TS SCI w/polygraph security clearance


Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $134,100.00 - $241,400.00
