Job Description:

In a fast moving and increasingly complex world, L3Harris is anticipating and rapidly responding to challenges with agile technology - creating a safer and more secure future. L3Harris is seeking a dynamic Deputy Program Manager who will be responsible for the overall management and contract performance of ground-to-space EW sustainment projects within the Combat Mission Systems Support portfolio. They will manage and direct assigned programs, which includes defining and controlling program scope, overall schedules and budget in accordance with applicable contractual and L3Harris policies.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
  • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure project stability throughout its lifecycle
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal teams, government agencies, and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment with mission objectives
  • Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques to monitor project performance and ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and scope objectives
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and innovation to achieve mission success
  • Valid driver's license is required


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years prior project management experience, Graduate Degree with 4 years prior experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Active US TS / SCI security clearance


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with DoD customers and contract types
  • Experience with executive briefing, presentation skills
  • Excellent planning and time management skills to manage complex, long-term initiatives
  • Knowledge of project management tools
  • PMP Certification


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state is $92,500-$171,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
