The Deputy General Counsel - Employment contributes to AHF by providing legal counsel to meet the needs of specified organizational units of AHF as applicable for all litigations. While primarily performing services related to AHF's employees and Human Resources, the DGC will be expected to provide legal services across AHF, including trial and litigation matters.

The Deputy General Counsel - Employment enhances the reputation of AHF by successfully assisting with performing standard and complex legal work to include areas such as research, policy review, legal compliance issues, contract reviews, property sale/acquisition, and employment. This includes drafting and analyzing policies and procedures, as well as reviewing and preparing contracts involving leases, licenses, employment, and related matters. The Deputy General Counsel will also be responsible for assisting in the conduct of litigation.

The Deputy General Counsel - Employment will work as a part of a close-knit team to demonstrate an in-depth and sophisticated understanding of legal procedures, strategies, and issues. The Deputy General Counsel will also be expected to exercise the highest levels of judgment and problem-solving when negotiating settlements, in conjunction with senior counsels and/or AHF management.
