Works under the general direction of the Neighborhood Safety & Engagement Director to provide executive level leadership across operations, finance, strategic planning, and administrative systems that support neighborhood safety, community engagement, and violence reduction efforts. Ensures operational excellence, fiscal stewardship, cross-agency coordination, and alignment with leadership priorities. Drives fiscal planning and alignment across teams. Oversees daily operations, administrative systems, and office performance. Leads budgeting, procurement, financial compliance, and internal controls. Co-manages staff hiring, onboarding, supervision, and performance. Maintains a trauma-informed, equitable, high-performance culture. Directs resource and success management functions for individuals at highest risk of violence. Ensures quality service delivery and documentation standards. Supports case coordination with community and public safety partners. Advances community violence intervention, prevention, and neighborhood stabilization efforts. Represents the Joint Office in meetings and community engagements. Travels throughout the city to represent the Joint Office at internal and external meetings, community events, and public engagement activities across City and County government, fostering strong community relationships and ensuring services are delivered in a culturally responsive, healing-centered manner that reflects neighborhood priorities and community voice. Responsibilities OTHER FUNCTIONS: Performs additional and other related duties (essential or otherwise) as required and assigned. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with senior leaders and community stakeholders. Requires the use of computers, calculators, and telephones. Requires daily access to an operable vehicle and the ability to operate an automobile. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in an office environment. Requires the ability to travel to attend various meetings. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Criminal Justice, Social Services, or a related field and eight (8) years of professional experience with government, nonprofit, or public-sector administration, including leadership in operations, budgeting, or financial management; or any combination of experience and training which enables one to perform the essential job functions. Must have working experience with community violence and intervention evidence-based strategies. Must possess and maintain valid driver's license as a condition of continued employment.
