- You can interact positively with a diverse patient population, of all ages, backgrounds, and personalities and provide care in a manner that is appropriate and meets patient's individualized needs
- You are confident in delivering direct patient care, including
- Assessment of patient's general health and readiness to undergo dental treatment
- Evaluation and diagnosis of dental conditions
- Performing procedures involved in the scope of general dentistry, including fillings, extractions, basic endodontics, basic fixed and removable prosthodontics
- You can apply evidence-based diagnostic and treatment techniques to meet accepted standards of dental care
- You can effectively communicate and educate patients on the importance of oral health and work alongside them as they work to achieve a state of oral health
- You are comfortable and enjoy treating pediatric patients
- You have a positive and innovative attitude toward the interdisciplinary delivery of dental care.
To be considered, you'll need:- Degree in Dental Medicine (DMD) or Dental Surgery (DDS) from an accredited school of dentistry
- Unrestricted license to practice Dentistry in the state of South Carolina.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification
- Current Federal and State controlled substances registration numbers.
- Eligibility to obtain South Carolina Medicaid provider status
- 3-5 years of clinical experience or completion of an accredited AEGD or GPR residency program, preferred.
