What You'll DoAs a valued member of our hygiene team, you'll play an essential role in helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures
- Adult and pediatric prophylaxis
- Scaling and Root Planing (SRP)
- Periodontal maintenance
- Perform adjunctive hygiene therapies as indicated
- Conduct thorough patient assessments
- Review medical histories and update records
- Take diagnostic radiographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and home care techniques
- Collaborate closely with the doctor and clinical team to develop individualized treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and sterilization protocols
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation
- Help create a positive, comfortable experience for every patient

QualificationsRequired:
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygiene License (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain)
Preferred:
- Previous clinical hygiene experience (new graduates are encouraged to apply)
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Experience with digital charting and dental software
