SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will have 1 direct report currently - Demand Planning Analyst
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain statistically driven demand forecasts and consensus plans across a 3-36 month horizon aligned to business and strategic objectives.
Lead the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Demand Review, driving alignment across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, and Executive Leadership.
Partner cross-functionally to incorporate market intelligence, promotions, customer insights, and sales trends into demand plans.
Monitor forecast performance, identify risks and opportunities, and implement actions to improve accuracy and reduce bias.
Establish and evolve demand planning governance, methodologies, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Analyze and communicate key metrics (forecast accuracy/bias, service levels, inventory turns, product/channel performance) to inform decisions.
Provide executive insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations to support budgeting, financial forecasting, and long-range planning.
Collaborate with supply chain and operations partners to align production, inventory, new product launches, and strategic initiatives-including inventory optimization and growth opportunities.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Data Analytics/Data Science or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
5 or more years of experience in demand planning, forecasting or a related field in a manufacturing environment.
Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
