Full Job Description
DEMAND  PLANNER The Role The Demand Planner role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow while leveraging modern analytics and AI-enabled planning tools. We are bringing demand planning closer to our internal and external customers by gathering and analyzing demand trends and signals, strengthening collaboration with key business partners, and playing an important role in business decision-making. In this role, you will own demand planning for a product category and be responsible for managing the demand forecast at both the Sell-In and Sell-Thru level. You will play a key role in enabling category success from a supply chain perspective by translating business insights into actionable demand plans, managing planning processes, and identifying risks and opportunities. You will own the demand plan for your category and will work closely with the Head of Demand Planning, regional category marketing, category finance, and supply chain teams.   • Acquire, understand, and incorporate demand signals, channel data, and replenishment triggers into product-level demand plans for up to 18 months across the North America region.
  • Translate category supply chain strategy into actionable demand and supply planning activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, finance, sales, and supply chain.
  • Prepare and present demand plans, scenario analyses, actual performance, and inventory status to key stakeholders on a regular basis, highlighting risks and opportunities and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Establish and maintain SKU-level demand plans for the assigned product category using analytical and statistical tools, business intelligence, cross-functional collaboration, and AI-enabled planning solutions where applicable.
  • Monitor inventory levels and work with related functions to take corrective and preventive actions to avoid supply shortages and excess or aging stock.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc performance summaries supported by fact-based root cause analysis, and propose and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage all aspects of weekly, monthly, and quarterly demand planning activities.
  • Support and drive the demand planning inputs into the S&OP process for your category.
  • Manage product life cycle transitions from New Product Introduction (NPI) through End of Life (EOL) to ensure supply availability and targeted inventory levels.
  • Drive the development and implementation of processes and tools related to demand planning and forecasting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to refine existing processes and tools and help develop next-generation planning capabilities.
Key Qualifications For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Data Science, or a related field, with 4–7 years of relevant experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.
  • Experience in consumer electronics, FMCG, or CPG is preferred.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated ability to use advanced analytics and optimization techniques, particularly in MS Excel, VBA, SQL, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools; experience with planning systems is an advantage.
  • Experience with AI-enabled forecasting, demand sensing, planning, or analytics tools is preferred, particularly in using them to improve forecast quality, identify demand patterns, and support scenario planning.
  • Experience participating in S&OP processes
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions in the face of uncertain or incomplete information.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive attitude and a high degree of initiative.
Compensation: This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 78,000 and $ 128,000.
