Full Job Description
As a Demand Planner at Danone North America, you will play a critical role in driving forecast accuracy and ensuring alignment between commercial and supply chain teams. You will lead the demand planning process for a portfolio of products, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver and animate reliable forecasts that support business objectives and put a Danone in Every Hand and Every Heart. Job Responsibilities: • Supports the end-to-end trend process across the entire Business Unit • Incorporates consumption, fill rate & customer inventory positions into trend conversations • Leverage advance analytics & machine learning to generate short-term forecasts (12 weeks) • Works directly with the forecast analysts to improve statistical & ml demand precision & responsiveness • Fosters strong relationships within operations to integrate relevant data and drivers to the long-term forecast • Acts as the main point of contact for the supply planners • Presents KPIs, including forecast accuracy, bias and waste • Works with category commercial partners to support special cases such as allocation/prioritization and innovation • Manages New Product Lifecycle entry into Planning System (o9) Job Qualifications: • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., SAP APO, Excel, o9, Circana). • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Good conflict resolution and interpersonal skills • Good verbal and written communication skills The salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $117,000.00 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. About You Experience and Education Requirement: • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or related field; Master's preferred. • 3+ years of experience in demand planning, or forecasting, preferably in the CPG or food & beverage industry • Experience with S&OP processes and cross-functional collaboration. • APICS/IBF certification (CPIM, CSCP, or CPF) is a plus.
