Overview

The Demand Planner for HEYDUDE is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating demand forecasts that support the regional distribution of direct-to-consumer demand and expansion into digital marketplaces. This role partners cross-functionally with Commercial, Marketplace, Supply Chain, Distribution, and Planning teams to translate channel strategies, marketplace signals, and fulfillment requirements into balanced demand, inventory, and supply plans. The position plays a critical role in improving forecast accuracy, supporting regional inventory placement, and enabling strong in-stock performance across direct-to-consumer and marketplace channels.

What You'll Do

  • Own demand forecasting for digital marketplace channels, translating sales trends, promotional plans, seasonality, and marketplace inputs into actionable demand plans.
  • Support regional distribution strategies by aligning direct-to-consumer demand forecasts to inventory placement, fulfillment capacity, and service-level objectives.
  • Partner with Marketplace, Commercial, Supply Chain, and Distribution teams to ensure forecasts reflect channel priorities, operational constraints, and growth opportunities.
  • Monitor forecast performance, demand shifts, sell-through, in-stock levels, and inventory health to identify risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Execute reoccurring allocation process to maintain necessary in-stock levels
  • Develop SKU- and size-level demand insights that inform inventory placement, replenishment priorities, and product availability across regional fulfillment locations.
  • Prepare forecast updates, demand review materials, and business insights for cross-functional forums focused on regional demand distribution and marketplace growth.
  • Use planning systems, Excel-based models, and operational reporting to improve visibility to forecast accuracy, demand volatility, and inventory requirements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of forecasting tools, processes, and reporting that support direct-to-consumer demand planning and digital marketplace expansion.


What You'll Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent years of relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, supply planning, marketplace planning, or a related planning function.
  • Experience supporting marketplace, eCommerce, wholesale, or retail channels; digital marketplace or marketplace fulfillment experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, replenishment, inventory positioning, demand variability, and service-level management.
  • Ability to connect demand plans to regional inventory placement, fulfillment strategy, and operational execution across North America.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills, including experience building or maintaining forecast models, reports, and planning tools.
  • Demand planning systems and SAP experience are preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally, influence decisions, and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Title: Demand Planner

Salary or Pay Range: $87,000 - $97,000

Pay offered will vary based on job-related factors such as location, experience, training, skills, and abilities.

Your participation in this flexible schedule plays a key role in building a connected and successful team. In-office requirements vary by our work personas: Resident (5 days), Collaborator (4 days), Connector (2-3 days), Explorer (fully remote). This role has been aligned to the Collaborator persona.

This position is eligible to participate in a company incentive program.
